About the author of Hockey

Stephen Hardy is a professor emeritus, earning an Excellence in Teaching award from the University of New Hampshire, where he taught kinesiology and history. He wrote How Boston Played as well as the fourth edition of Sport Marketing. Andrew C. Holman is a history professor and Canadian studies director at Bridgewater State University. He specializes in Canada’s history, culture, and relationship with the US, and has published two other books on the sport of hockey.
